Are you interested in pursuing doctoral study at a leading university that focuses on research that influences practice?

City, University of London is offering 15 doctoral studentships starting in October 2023 as part of a scheme that will recruit outstanding researchers and eventually support 45 studentships across its six Schools.

The studentships comprise a stipend that tracks the UKRI rate (currently £19,668 pa) and tuition fees. Successful applicants will also have access to additional resources provided by their School.

Funding

  • Funding is available for UK, EU and international students studying full-time or part-time
  • Full-time students will receive a maintenance grant currently £19,668 per annum that will rise in line with UKRI stipends. Tuition fees are also paid
  • In addition to resources within the Schools, project/consumable costs of £1,500 are provided
  • The application and selection process is run through the School you apply to and involves senior academic staff from the relevant disciplines.
