Discover Undergraduate Media, Culture and the Creative Industries courses at City

Our Department of Media, Culture and Creative Industries offers cutting-edge, industry-focused and socially relevant perspectives on media, culture and the creative industries, and their place in an ever-changing world.

From social media to creative writing and publishing, to considering the shifting nature of political communication and media representation in the age of TikTok and Netflix.

From critical exploration of twenty-first century English literature, to understanding the role of cultural policy as a force for global development and exploring their relevance to contemporary society.

These are all topics covered by our research and teaching. Our courses offer students a hands-on learning experience with teaching and assessments that are industry relevant.

"City not only provides everything you would expect from a degree, but it switches it up to ensure you're well prepared for the future. You can discover new interests and explore the ones you already have. Whoever you are, you can definitely find your place at City."
