What's On

There’s lots of great events at the University to welcome you and help you get started in your first weeks. These include welcome talks, welcome events for international students, campus tours and induction sessions with our support services.

SU Events

Your Students' Union (SU) will be running society meet ups, a games night, a movie night, the Fresher's Fair and much more!

Come and join the Students' Union at the Business Design Centre in Angel for the 2023 Freshers' Fair on Monday 25 September 2023, 11am-5pm. At the fair you'll find a selection of Societies, Sports Clubs, and paid opportunities.

Big Hello

Come along to the Big Hello on Thursday 28 September from 11am–3pm (Great Hall, College Building). Join teams from City and external providers to find out how they can support your learning, health, wellbeing, career and more. This is an opportunity for you to meet the teams, play some games, get some free food and make friends. You can also bag yourself some freebies including the limited edition Big Hello tote bag!

Sports Trials

If you're looking to play sport competitively, either individually or within a team, as a beginner or with previous experience, then the Wolfpack is for you.

To join one of City's teams you'll need to attend trials which will be taking place from Monday 26 September - Sunday 2 October. To find your sport's trial dates, head to the sports pages on the Students' Union website.

You'll be able to meet members from the University's sports teams at the Fresher's Fair on Monday 25 September and the Sports and Wellbeing Fair on Tuesday 26 September.
